Questions

The things people ask before booking

How long does a typical floor take to install?

Most single rooms are done in a day. A whole ground floor is usually two to three days for LVP or laminate, and four to five for site-finished hardwood, because the finish needs time to cure between coats.

Do I need to move the furniture myself?

No. Moving furniture is included for normal household items. We ask you to empty wardrobes and clear breakables and electronics; we handle the rest and put it back at the end.

Can you lay a new floor over the existing one?

Sometimes. LVP and laminate can float over a sound, level, dry subfloor including some existing vinyl. We measure moisture and flatness before quoting, because covering a problem floor is the most common cause of failure a year later.

What happens if the price changes once you start?

The quote you sign is the price you pay unless you ask for extra work. If we open up a floor and find rot or a subfloor that needs levelling, we stop, show you, and price the extra before we continue.

Is the estimate on your site accurate?

It is a genuine range for materials and installation, not a teaser. The final number depends on subfloor prep, stairs, trim and transitions, which is why we measure on site before giving you a firm price.

Do you offer financing?

Yes. We offer 0% APR for 12 months through Example Credit, subject to approval. We will show you the monthly figure alongside the quote.

Are you licensed and insured?

Yes. We hold IL Contractor #104-88231 and carry full public liability and workers' compensation cover. We are happy to send certificates before work starts.

Ready for a floor you stop noticing because it just works?

Free measured estimate, no obligation, usually within 48 hours.
